Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amir Demirov (ranked 1565 p4p, 3660 weight class) and Nathan Rice (ranked 168 p4p, 346 weight class). Demirov comes to the cage accompanied by Sudno. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rice uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Demirov.
Rice tries to counter with a clinch but Demirov shakes him off and moves away.
Demirov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Demirov walks away with a smile on his face. Rice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Amir Demirov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Rice.
Demirov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Demirov steps in with a hook that catches Rice right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Demirov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rice looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amir Demirov!
A relieved looking Amir Demirov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
