Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Memphis Candy (ranked 4925 p4p, 3925 weight class) and Zeke Yurchon (ranked 0 p4p, 384 weight class). Candy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Memphis Candy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zeke Yurchon!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurchon darts in and clinches Candy up against the cage.
Yurchon stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Candy is breathing heavily.
Yurchon has clasped his hands together around Candy's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Yurchon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Candy keeps working.
Yurchon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Candy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Check out the look on Yurchon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Candy is not content to let Yurchon control the position.

Candy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yurchon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Yurchon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Yurchon cracks Candy with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Yurchon immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Candy is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Yurchon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zeke Yurchon!
