Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kael Draven (ranked 3860 p4p, 23394 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 383 p4p, 0 weight class). Helen Salvacion is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kael Draven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 59 - 72 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Draven tries to avoid it but Salvacion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Draven to the ground. Draven escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Draven changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Draven feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Draven changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Draven trying to control the position from guard on top but Salvacion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Draven is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Salvacion is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Draven working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Salvacion's head.
Draven engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Draven throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Draven trying to control but Salvacion is working from the bottom.
Salvacion looks winded!
Draven in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Draven passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Draven has hold of Salvacion's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Salvacion tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Draven cranks the arm and Salvacion screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Salvacion, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kael Draven!
