Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Manfred (ranked 786 p4p, 906 weight class) and Ki Ruyjini (ranked 104 p4p, 121 weight class). Ruyjini is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 修羅の花 Shura no hana by Meiko Kaji. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ki Ruyjini!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruyjini scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ruyjini throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Manfred throws a leg kick that misses.
Ruyjini slips under a jab from Manfred.
Manfred rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ruyjini connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Klaus Manfred has been cut.
Manfred misses with an uppercut. Ruyjini saw that one coming.
Ruyjini swings for the body but Manfred moves out of range.
Ruyjini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice body punch from Ruyjini.
Ki Ruyjini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manfred moves forwards but Ruyjini connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've been hearing reports that Manfred has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Manfred pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ruyjini is out of range and Manfred settles back down.
Ruyjini unleashes a big counter combination but Manfred bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ruyjini fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Manfred uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ruyjini.
Ruyjini scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Manfred doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ruyjini misses the shot to the body.
Manfred ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ruyjini lands a two punch combo.
Good shot there by Ruyjini.
Manfred throws out a loose jab but Ruyjini uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from Ruyjini. No joy for Manfred on that attempt.
Ki Ruyjini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Manfred tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ruyjini swivels and escapes.
Ruyjini jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Manfred lands a right hook to the body.
Ruyjini fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Manfred on the side of the head.
Manfred is rocked!
Manfred walks straight into a right hand from Ruyjini - that's dropped him! Ruyjini jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Manfred from any more punishment! Manfred complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ki Ruyjini!
