Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sullivan Lopes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Konnor Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes lands with a right hand.
Gordon throws a leg kick
and Lopes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lopes is looking to clinch.
Lopes wants to clinch.
Gordon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gordon needs to keep his hands up - Lopes had a free shot at his head there.
Gordon tests Lopes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gordon lands an overhand right.
Gordon swats away the attempt to clinch by Lopes.
Lopes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gordon has time to react.
Lopes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A jab lands there for Lopes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lopes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
No joy there for Gordon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gordon lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gordon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lopes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gordon is rocked!
Lopes checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Gordon is still on wobbly legs! Can Lopes finish him?
Gordon walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
