Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Eriksson (ranked 2664 p4p, 3278 weight class) and Phillip Phillips (ranked 290 p4p, 336 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruno Eriksson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phillip Phillips! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Francis DeMontford and Damien Edna.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips tries to sprawl but Eriksson drives through with a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Eriksson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Phillips knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Phillips is defending against the submission attempts here by Eriksson.
Eriksson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Eriksson wants to work for an arm triangle but Phillips is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillips is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Eriksson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Phillips doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Eriksson.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips is looking to control Eriksson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Phillips avoid being mounted? Eriksson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Eriksson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phillips keeps working.
Eriksson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Phillips is just riding it out for now. Eriksson eventually gives up the hold. Eriksson is pressing down on Phillips's thigh, looking to free his foot. Phillips is holding on for now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Phillips felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Eriksson is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Phillips flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Eriksson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Phillips counters with a nice double leg into side control. Eriksson won't be happy with that.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Phillips trying to control the action but Eriksson is working from the bottom. Eriksson manages to get back to half guard. Eriksson is staying active underneath Phillips, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Phillips is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Phillips is figuring out what he wants to do next. Phillips working Eriksson over with strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Eriksson actively working from the bottom here. Eriksson gets full guard. Phillips trying to control the position from guard on top but Eriksson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Eriksson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Phillips is defending well. Eriksson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Phillips has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Eriksson celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
