Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sokov Bogdan (ranked 1850 p4p, 2933 weight class) and Chico Prego (ranked 152 p4p, 226 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sokov Bogdan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chico Prego!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bogdan tries for a takedown but Prego circles away easily
and Prego counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bogdan with a lazy takedown attempt
and Prego counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Prego's coach down at Gym To Nica was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Prego's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bogdan doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Prego counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sokov Bogdan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bogdan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Prego sprawls well. Prego wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bogdan gets slowly back to his feet.

Bogdan slips a jab from Prego.
Prego dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bogdan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Prego counters with a straight right hand.
Prego cracks Bogdan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Prego has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bogdan to stand back up!
Bogdan is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bogdan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Prego counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Oh Bogdan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bogdan tries for a takedown but Prego circles away easily
and Prego counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bogdan! Prego lets Bogdan back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Bogdan circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Prego. Bogdan falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Prego!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chico Prego!
A relieved looking Chico Prego thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
