Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Ballin (ranked 1317 p4p, 2388 weight class) and Marques Brown (ranked 151 p4p, 254 weight class). Ballin comes to the ring accompanied by Wanna Be A Baller - LilTroy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marques Brown!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballin tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily
and Brown counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brown thumps Ballin with a low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Brown.
An inside leg kick lands from Brown.
A jab from Brown finds it's way through Ballin's defenses.
Brown lands a jab to the head.
Ballin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ballin off to one side.
Ballin has his takedown stuffed
and Brown counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Ballin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ballin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ballin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Brown looks to land a body kick but Ballin moved away.
Ballin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ballin shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Ballin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brown follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Ballin closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Ballin pushes Brown against the ropes but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ballin doesn't seem bothered though.

Brown has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Ballin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brown can pounce on him.

Brown uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ballin has time to react.

Brown was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Ballin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Ballin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ballin somewhat.

Ballin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brown connects with a body shot that sends Ballin's belly button to the back.
Brown moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ballin throws a low kick but Brown moves out of range easily.
Ballin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Ballin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ballin doesn't seem phased though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ballin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Ballin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Brown lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ballin. Ballin tries to recover but Brown is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ballin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
