Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Marquis (ranked 3957 p4p, 3985 weight class) and Derek Bly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Marquis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Bly! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquis has Bly up against the cage in a clinch.
Bly is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Marquis is keeping busy.
Bly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bly looks to land a combination but Marquis avoids it well. Marquis fails in his attempt to clinch. Marquis scores with a nice body kick.
Marquis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marquis scrambles back to his feet. Marquis dives in for a single leg takedown but Bly sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Marquis manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bly has his takedown stuffed
and Marquis counters with a shoot takedown. Bly fights it but they end up in guard. Bly is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Marquis dives into side control.
 The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bly prevents Marquis from improving position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Marquis taking a breather here. Marquis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Marquis stands up and beckons Bly to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bly enables Marquis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Marquis showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Marquis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bly, up you get! Bly lands a head kick. Marquis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Marquis instigates a clinch. Bly misses with a shot to the kidneys.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bly jumps guard but Marquis stands there with Bly around his waist. Bly gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bly wants to stall.
Bly looks winded! Marquis effectively controlling the action here. Bly is trying to pull guard but Marquis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Andrew Marquis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Bly. Bly working hard to break the clinch.
Marquis gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bly regains guard.
Marquis advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marquis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bly's head. Marquis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bly trying to control but Marquis postures up.
Marquis controlling the action here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Marquis dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Marquis throws a lazy head kick and Bly counters with a one-two to the body.
Marquis gets the takedown into side control. Bly struggling a bit here.
Marquis tries for a kimura but Bly is defending well.
Marquis stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bly keeps the fight on the outside. Bly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Andrew Marquis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Marquis rushes Bly and presses him up against the cage. Marquis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bly walks away with a smile on his face. Marquis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bly shoots for a double leg takedown but Marquis sprawls well. He's pushed Bly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bly is breathing heavily.
Bly gets tackled into the cage by Marquis. Marquis maintains the clinch.
Bly manages to break the clinch.
Marquis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bly on the side of the head.
Marquis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Marquis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Marquis decides to stand back up. Marquis steps back and let's Bly get back to his feet.
Marquis gets a double leg takedown into Bly's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bly is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marquis is controlling him. Marquis showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Marquis gets to his feet. Bly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Marquis gets a takedown into half guard.
Marquis stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bly has a takedown stuffed.
Bly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Marquis advances position into side control!
Marquis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bly is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Marquis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bly can do to turn this around? Bly tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Marquis presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Marquis controlling from the full mount. Bly wants to hold on but Marquis pushes him away. Bly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marquis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marquis throwing strikes here but Bly is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bly holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Marquis tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Marquis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Marquis dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bly tries for a takedown but Marquis circles away easily and Marquis counters with a low kick, right behind Bly 's knee. Marquis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bly was well out of range. Poor timing from Marquis. Marquis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bly pinned against the cage. Bly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Marquis misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nice body kick there by Marquis. Bly avoids the head kick by Marquis.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Marquis or perhaps it was just good defense by Bly, which made it look bad. Bly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Marquis stuffs the takedown attempt from Bly. Bly gets slowly back to his feet.

Marquis gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bly regains guard.
Marquis forces his way into half guard.
Marquis stands up from half guard. Nice takedown defense from Marquis. No joy for Bly on that attempt. Andrew Marquis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Bly.
Marquis takes the fight into the clinch.
Marquis successfully pulls guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Marquis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Marquis has his hands on Bly's head, controlling the position.
Marquis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Marquis seems keen to control Bly's posture. Marquis striking from his own guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marquis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Marquis doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Marquis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bly gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Marquis to score an easy takedown into full guard. Marquis controls from within his opponent's guard. Bly trying to control the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Marquis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bly tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Marquis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marquis passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Marquis showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marquis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
