Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Ignatiev (ranked 1135 p4p, 1207 weight class) and Mehmet Shakaromanov (ranked 143 p4p, 152 weight class). Ignatiev's entrance music is Beats That. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Nikolai Ignatiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mehmet Shakaromanov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakaromanov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Shakaromanov counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Nikolai Ignatiev has been cut.

Shakaromanov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ignatiev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shakaromanov's coach down at Ironbound MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shakaromanov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

A relieved looking Mehmet Shakaromanov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
