The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by piredda or perhaps it was just good defense by Power which made him look bad.
piredda throws a hook to the side of Power's head but Power sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Power tries for a takedown but piredda sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Power scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Power is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, piredda has escaped the position, nice work there.

piredda wants to get back to his feet but Power drags him back down.

The fight stays on the outside here - piredda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

piredda pushes Power off looking to stand but Power dives back in and keeps control.

Power has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can piredda defend it? Power steps over the head and cranks it - piredda is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Power!
