Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joo Sang Yoo (ranked 2005 p4p, 2473 weight class) and Nick Mcdonald (ranked 168 p4p, 203 weight class). Nick Mcdonald struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Joo Sang Yoo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Mcdonald's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joo Sang Yoo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Mcdonald! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A jab from Yoo finds it's way through Mcdonald's defenses. Yoo clobbers Mcdonald with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Mcdonald moves out of range of the strikes. And Mcdonald tries to counter it with a takedown but Yoo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Yoo drops Mcdonald with a nice combination! Yoo dives into Mcdonald's guard, looking to finish!
 Mcdonald is rocked!
 It looks like Nick Mcdonald has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yoo trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcdonald is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yoo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mcdonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Yoo tries to roll over but Mcdonald keeps him under control. Mcdonald is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Yoo! Mcdonald landing strikes from the mount.

Mcdonald wants to control the pace but Yoo is squirming around nicely. Mcdonald tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcdonald is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Yoo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Yoo is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mcdonald looking for a guillotine from mount but Yoo is having none of it. Mcdonald working Yoo over with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcdonald working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Yoo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mcdonald off and cradles Yoo's limp body as Mcdonald celebrates with his corner.
