Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Drake (ranked 24986 p4p, 3667 weight class) and Saekenpai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saekenpai Fairtex is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Charles Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saekenpai Fairtex!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Drake misses.
Fairtex feints the counter takedown.
Fairtex takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fairtex looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Drake swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Drake throws a shot from downtown. Fairtex moves away and avoids it.
Fairtex is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fairtex throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Charles Drake has been cut.
Fairtex closes the distance and pushes Drake back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fairtex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fairtex gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fairtex avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fairtex wants to counter with a clinch but Drake pushes him away.
Drake throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Drake lands a jab.

Drake works over Fairtex's head and body with a nice combination.
Drake misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fairtex.
Fairtex tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drake feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fairtexs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Drake makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A nice leg kick from Fairtex, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fairtex darts in and clinches Drake up against the cage.
Fairtex tries for a takedown. No joy.
Drake wants to stall.
Drake has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Drake misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fairtex.
Drake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fairtex after a bit of a struggle.
Fairtex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drake misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab from Drake misses.
Drake really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Drake moves out of range easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake jabs at Fairtex's body.
Fairtex darts in looking for a takedown but Drake gets double underhooks and turns Fairtex into the cage.
Charles Drake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saekenpai Fairtex.
Fairtex will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fairtex takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fairtex tries to score a power double leg takedown but Drake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fairtex somewhat.
Drake scores with a jab. Fairtex acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Drake manages to break the clinch.
Fairtex fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fairtex shoots in looking for a takedown but Drake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fairtex's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Drake scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Drake lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fairtex is rocked!
Drake scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fairtex is still on wobbly legs! Can Drake finish him?
Drake is pawing at Fairtex, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Fairtex's nose. Fairtex is badly hurt! Drake pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Fairtex tries desperately to hold on but Drake is relentless in his assault! As Fairtex receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Drake away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Drake!
Charles Drake decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
