Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thufir Hawat (ranked 707 p4p, 1035 weight class) and Phoenix Peterson (ranked 94 p4p, 132 weight class). Peterson has chosen Bulls On Parade- Rage Against the Machine as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Phoenix Peterson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hawat at a distance.
Hawat throws a jab but it's blocked by Peterson.

Hawat looks to land a left hand but Peterson moved out of range nicely.
Peterson throws a lazy right hand but Hawat sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Peterson moves into range and clinches up with Hawat.
Peterson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hawat backwards.
Peterson throws an elbow but it misses.
Hawat trying to control the position but instead, Peterson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hawat into the cage.

Peterson and Hawat are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Peterson throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Hawat into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Peterson knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Phoenix Peterson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
