The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Magomedov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nogueira's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Nogueira (0) vs (2) Magomedov Magomedov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nogueira swivels though and keeps the full guard. Magomedov postures up.
Nogueira wants to sweep but no luck. Nogueira is working hard here to advance position. Nogueira is trying to keep Magomedov in close.
Nogueira looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Magomedov showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nogueira not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Magomedov controls from within his opponent's guard. Magomedov trying to control the position from guard on top but Nogueira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nogueira is trying to push Magomedov off with his feet but Magomedov grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Nogueira's ankles and Nogueira is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
