Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jarod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Bola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bola has a takedown stuffed.

Bola looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jarod knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bola on the ground.
Jarod is trying to get back to full guard.
Bola wants to free his trapped foot but Jarod is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bola passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jarod is working to get back to half guard.

Bola is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jarod is surviving well by controlling Bola's body position as best he can.

Bola jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jarod is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jarod and Bola has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Jarod manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bola takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bola takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jarod tries to get to full guard but Bola has control of the leg.
Jarod tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bola has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Bola moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jarod has worked his arm free - good work by Jarod!

Bola is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jarod knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bola looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jarod is pushing Bola's head away, looking to escape. Bola manages to hold on to the position though.

Bola stands up and beckons Jarod to his feet.
Bola tries to clinch but Jarod is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by Jarod or perhaps it was just good defense by Bola which made him look bad.
Jarod closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bola circles away.
Jarod circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jarod working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jarod stops Bola from standing up.
Jarod trying to move into half guard but instead Bola has managed to sweep!

Jarod wants to sweep here but Bola controlling him for the moment.
Bola stands and throws Jarod's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jarod tries to improve position but can't.
Bola lands some shots froms side control.

Bola stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jarod fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Jarod. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bola misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bola is trying to control the action in half guard but Jarod is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jarod is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bola wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jarod keeps working.

Bola is looking for a kimura here.

Bola is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jarod doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bola.
Bola lands strikes from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Junior Bola dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jarod misses with a takedown

and Bola counters with a shoot takedown. Jarod fights it but they end up in guard.
Bola forces his way into half guard.

Bola wants to work for an arm triangle but Jarod is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jarod on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Bola is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jarod is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
