Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Brook (ranked 3833 p4p, 3845 weight class) and Merle Watson (ranked 125 p4p, 128 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Brook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Merle Watson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Watson tries to clinch but Brook moves out of range. Brook seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson tries to keep at a distance but Brook has taken the fight into the clinch. Stalling in the clinch from Watson.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Brook just leaning against Watson, taking a breather. Watson is stalling here.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Watson stalling.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Watson leaning against his opponent.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Watson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Merle Watson. Watson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brook sets himself, and Watson steps forward looking for the clinch! Brook avoids it this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brook swats away the attempt to clinch by Watson.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brad Brook. Well Brook has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
