Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jones (ranked 3861 p4p, 4745 weight class) and Navin Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Jones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Navin Haynes! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haynes misses with a double jab.
Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jones prevents Haynes from getting back to his feet. Jones stands up over Haynes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jones wants to pass the guard but Haynes is keeping the position. Haynes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Jones drops back looking for a leg! Haynes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haynes manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Haynes's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to pass the guard but Haynes is keeping the position. Jones engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Haynes wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jones manages to pass to side control. Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Haynes is trying to stand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones controlling the action here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haynes wants to stand back up but Jones manages to pass into side control.
Haynes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well. Jones taking a breather here. Jones has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Haynes is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Jones gets a double leg takedown into Haynes's guard. Jones showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Haynes wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. Jones scoring with some ground and pound. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones uses his free foot to push down on Haynes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Haynes. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Haynes is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Jones content just to control the position here. Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jones trying to control but Haynes is having none of it.
Jones working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jones won't let Haynes get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Haynes is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. Haynes tries to buck Jones off but he can't manage it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jones shoots in and bounces Haynes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jones is standing up over Haynes. Haynes looks to escape but Jones dives into side control.

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Haynes, who protects the arm well. Jones wants to stand but Haynes is controlling his arm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones controls the position from side control. Haynes is trying to get back to his feet.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Haynes misses with a jab, cross combination.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Haynes enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Haynes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jay Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Haynes is breathing heavily. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Haynes is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jones stops Haynes from standing up. Jones advances to half guard. Haynes looks like he's trying to stand up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Haynes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Haynes tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Haynes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Haynes wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position.

Jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jones shoots for a takedown but Haynes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Haynes misses with a few strikes there.
Jones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jay Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Haynes throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jones is standing up over Haynes. Haynes looks to escape but Jones dives into side control.
Jones connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Haynes some visible discomfort.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones happy to just control the position for now. Jones trying to control the position but Haynes is working away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Jones dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Haynes looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Haynes.
Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Haynes tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Haynes can do to turn this around?
Jones has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Haynes has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
Jones controls the action. Haynes is trying to get back to his feet but Jones has full control of the position and if anything, Haynes has just worked his way into a worse spot. Haynes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Jones looking for the RNC. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones keeps control of the position easily here as Haynes tries to buck him off.

Jones is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Haynes manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Haynes throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Haynes fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones clinches with his opponent.
Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Haynes just stands there and leans against the cage. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Haynes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jones gets a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haynes manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jones keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Haynes won't allow it.
Haynes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Haynes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jones won't allow Haynes to get back to his feet. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Haynes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Haynes wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Haynes is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Jones dives into side control.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Haynes wants to get back to his feet but Jones is dominant here and he's now got Haynes's back!
Jones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Haynes knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Haynes for a finish. Haynes wants to get back to his feet. Navin Haynes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jay Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
