Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Waldemar Friberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mego Kong Ho Chai!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurstr�m and Roosa J�rvil�inen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Friberg misses.
Friberg moves to clinch but Chai breaks away
and Chai counters with a nice uppercut.
Good standup being displayed there by Friberg as he connects with a hook.
No joy there for Chai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Friberg jabs Chai right on the nose. Chai blinks but takes it well.
Friberg is looking to clinch.
Friberg misses with a body punch
and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Friberg throws a shot from downtown. Chai moves away and avoids it.
Chai throws a head kick that misses.
Friberg walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Friberg is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mego Kong Ho Chai!
After winning the bout, Mego Kong Ho Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
