Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Manchester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Sherman!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ben Watson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchester gets caught napping as Sherman dives in and scores a takedown. Manchester manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sherman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sherman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Manchester is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sherman is aware though and is defending well.
Manchester controls Sherman momentarily but Sherman frees himself.
Sherman is looking to work some ground and pound but Manchester has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sherman drops back looking for a leg! Manchester is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Manchester manages to kick Sherman off! Sherman jumps back into Manchester's guard.
Manchester knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sherman on the ground.

Sherman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Manchester on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Manchester tries to get out of the position.
Sherman wants to control from the top but Manchester keeps moving.
Manchester wants to hit a sweep here but Sherman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Manchester there!
Sherman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Manchester to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Manchester shrugs it off.
Sherman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sherman is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Manchester is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Manchester flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sherman anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Manchester and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sherman slips an arm under Manchester chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sherman has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sherman is squeezing on Manchester like an anaconda would it's prey. Manchester fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Xavier Sherman!
