Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jarron Faith (ranked 2270 p4p, 2406 weight class) and Alejandro Laguera (ranked 163 p4p, 166 weight class). Jarron Faith is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarron Faith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alejandro Laguera!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguera shoots for a double leg takedown but Faith sprawls well. He's pushed Laguera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Laguera shoots in and drives through. Faith sprawls well.
Laguera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Faith avoids it really well and circles away.
Jarron Faith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Laguera.
Faith looks to land a right hand but Laguera moved out of range.
Laguera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Faith bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laguera's head backwards.

Faith slaps away a takedown attempt from Laguera, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Laguera shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Faith as he jumps to the side.

Faith connects with a looping right hand.
Faith sizes up Laguera with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Laguera ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Faith looks to land a combination but Laguera avoids it well.
Laguera gets a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laguera is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Faith tries to roll over but Laguera keeps him under control.

Faith holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The fighters are battling for position here. Faith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Faith pulls Laguera in to control the position.
Faith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laguera's guard.
Faith lands a couple of digs.

Faith slips nicely into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Faith wants to take a breather but Laguera is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Laguera wants to control but Faith is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Laguera tries to roll over but Faith keeps him under control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Faith sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Laguera is looking to improve his position.
Faith landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Laguera has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Faith is trying to control the action in half guard but Laguera is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Faith passes the guard and advances to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Laguera is looking to escape.
Laguera tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jarron Faith dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Laguera avoids the head kick by Faith.
Laguera drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Faith is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Laguera can do to turn this around?
Faith is trying to get back to half guard.
Laguera has hold of Faith's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Faith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Laguera cranks the arm and Faith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Faith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
