Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tapad Amiga (ranked 23354 p4p, 23331 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 82 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 52 - 67 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Amiga. Salvacion replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Amiga blocks it well.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salvacion holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Salvacion. Amiga showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Salvacion managing to control the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Amiga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Amiga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Amiga as Salvacion shoots in. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. Tapad Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helen Salvacion. Salvacion slaps away a takedown attempt from Amiga, before circling back to the center of the mat.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt. And Amiga counters with a quick kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it. Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion thinks about the counter body kick. Salvacion circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga fails with the takedown. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Amiga but Amiga pushes him off and we're back to square one. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Amiga throws a big counter combination but Salvacion scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Tapad Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helen Salvacion.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Amiga as he avoids it easily. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. Amiga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Amiga tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Salvacion throws a big counter head kick but Amiga avoids it with no problem. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Salvacion fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Amiga to the ground. Salvacion is now in Amiga's guard. Salvacion controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga has Salvacion pulled in close to control his posture. Amiga looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace. Amiga looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga walks forward, straight into a front kick from Salvacion. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion stuffs the takedown. Amiga backing away here, and Salvacion unleashes a leg kick that just misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Amiga trying to control the position.
Salvacion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Amiga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Salvacion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga trying to control the position from guard on top but Salvacion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salvacion controlling Amiga's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amiga sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Salvacion's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion keeps control of the position for the meantime. Amiga with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Salvacion is concentrating on defense, preventing Amiga from advancing position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
And that's the end of the fight! Helen Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
