Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alvaro Sanchez (ranked 3693 p4p, 2940 weight class) and Anthony Manini (ranked 237 p4p, 193 weight class). The key to victory for Alvaro Sanchez has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alvaro Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Manini! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sanchez goes for a double leg but Manini avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Manini continues to drive forward. Sanchez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Manini after a bit of a struggle.
Manini gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sanchez regains guard.
Sanchez is looking for a triangle here but Manini uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Manini controlling from side mount. Sanchez dodges the ground and pound from Manini. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manini tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez isn't going anywhere. Sanchez is looking to regain half guard here but Manini keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manini decides to take the fight back to the feet. Sanchez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Manini. Sanchez feints a jab promting Manini to slip. Sanchez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Manini slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Manini shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sanchez is in trouble now - Manini has advanced to mount!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is trying to stand. Manini sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Manini wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez is holding on tight.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Manini lands a big shot there that rocks Sanchez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Sanchez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Manini takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sanchez is desperately trying to improve his position but Manini has a good base and remains in mount. Manini lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Manini controlling the position easily from mount. Manini prevents Sanchez from getting the reversal.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez is not a happy chappy� he wants out of there.
Manini dominating with strikes here. Manini landing strikes from the mount. Sanchez tries to reverse the position but Manini maintains control. Manini trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Manini jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sanchez manages to avoid the submission attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Manini in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Manini dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sanchez. Sanchez dodges the punch combination from Manini.
Sanchez scores with a nice strike. Manini takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sanchez throws a nice looking combination but Manini bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Manini looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanchez is just out of range.  That's one minute gone in the round. Manini is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sanchez. Alvaro Sanchez is winning the standup battle so far. Sanchez lands with a good body shot. A jab lands there for Sanchez. Sanchez works over Manini's head and body with a nice combination. Sanchez lands a jab to Manini's midsection. Manini uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
Manini misses with a takedown attempt - Sanchez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Manini tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sanchez scores with a shot to the body.
Manini moves into range and clinches up with Sanchez.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Manini doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sanchez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Alvaro Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Manini. Manini is breathing heavily. Sanchez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt. Sanchez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sanchez duly obliges. Sanchez is looking to wear down Manini with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Manini throws a poor cross that misses
and Sanchez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sanchez works the jab nicely. Alvaro Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Manini fails with the takedown letting Sanchez counter with a right hand.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Manini tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sanchez defends well and Manini ends up having to push Sanchez into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Manini darts in looking for a takedown but Sanchez gets double underhooks and turns Manini into the cage. Sanchez scores with a punch to the head. Sanchez ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sanchez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Sanchez lands a nice shot to the body.
Manini is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sanchez. Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Manini sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sanchez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Manini can do to turn this around? Manini has a takedown stuffed.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanchez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Manini takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Sanchez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Manini has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Manini breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alvaro Sanchez dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Sanchez throws an elbow that misses. Manini uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanchez's guard. Nice move by Manini!
Manini is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Manini puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sanchez. Sanchez managing to control the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanchez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Manini pushing down on Sanchez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sanchez is trying to stand back up but Manini is controlling him

Well, if Manini is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Manini is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Manini feints and as Sanchez raises his hands in defense, Manini changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sanchez being controlled here, momentarily.
Manini got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sanchez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manini has managed to get both his arms back between Sanchez's legs - danger averted.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez has his foot on Manini's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manini works his way back into a safe position though. Sanchez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Manini trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Manini forces his way into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Manini controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Anthony Manini comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Manini has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
