Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elias Yurchon (ranked 2780 p4p, 2989 weight class) and Dong Hyun Kim (ranked 329 p4p, 349 weight class). Yurchon's entrance music is Glass Joe Theme. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dong Hyun Kim was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elias Yurchon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dong Hyun Kim! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa J�rvil�inen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yurchon lands a jab to the head.
 It looks like Dong Hyun Kim has been cut.
Kim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Yurchon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground. Yurchon is controlling Kim's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kim is taking a breather. Yurchon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Yurchon is trying to stand up here but Kim is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yurchon taking some punishment here, with Kim in his half guard. Yurchon is trying to stand back up but Kim is controlling him
Kim controlling the action here. Yurchon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yurchon tries to get out of the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Yurchon is looking to escape. Kim missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Still in half guard, Kim seems content to control.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Yurchon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Yurchon keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kim shoots for a takedown but Yurchon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Yurchon scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Yurchon misses with a looping left. Kim throws a combination. Yurchon tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Elias Yurchon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yurchon sees it coming and avoids it easily. Yurchon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Yurchon lands a jab to the nose. Kim moves out of range as Yurchon strikes. Kim wants to counter the offense by Yurchon and move into the clinch position. Yurchon throws an overhand right that lands on Kim's shoulder, as Kim tries to avoid the shot. Nice sprawl there from Yurchon as Kim shoots in. Kim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yurchon. Kim looks for a takedown but Yurchon sprawls well. Elias Yurchon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dong Hyun Kim. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yurchon swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kim looking to score a takedown here. Yurchon is defending well but Kim drives through and ends up in Yurchon's guard. Kim looks winded! Kim trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kim is still trying to improve position. Kim prevents Yurchon from getting back to his feet. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Yurchon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Yurchon wants to stand but Kim is controlling the position. Kim passes Yurchon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kim prevents Yurchon from standing back up.
Kim is controlling the pace.
Yurchon is refusing to be controlled, as Kim sits in half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Some wild striking there from Kim.
Kim throws a right hand that Yurchon ducks under and follows up with a left that Yurchon also avoids with ease. Yurchon lands a lovely overhand right. Yurchon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kim under the eye. Yurchon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kim slips under a jab. Yurchon lands with a nice body punch. A big left from Kim misses. Yurchon lands the left hand. Elias Yurchon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yurchon throws the left hand but Kim avoids the punch easily. Yurchon lands with a hook. Kim tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Yurchon throws the left hand but Kim avoids the punch easily.
Kim closes the distance and pushes Yurchon back into the cage. Kim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Yurchon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Yurchon jabbing away but nothing is landing. A head kick misses from Kim. Kim darts in looking for a takedown but Yurchon gets double underhooks and turns Kim into the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Elias Yurchon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dong Hyun Kim's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kim slips a straight right by Yurchon. Kim uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yurchon. Yurchon throws a big shot that misses. Yurchon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Kim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yurchon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Elias Yurchon is winning the standup battle so far. Kim looks to throw the jab but Yurchon is out of range. Yurchon lands a body shot.
Yurchon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kim. Nice uppercut lands for Yurchon. That snapped Kim's head back.
Yurchon lands with a good body shot. Nice defenses there by Kim. Kim takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kim jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Yurchon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kim sprawling to the canvas! Kim rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Yurchon finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yurchon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kim's head backwards.
 Kim is rocked! Yurchon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kim! Yurchon dives in looking to finish! Kim is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elias Yurchon! After winning the bout, Elias Yurchon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
