The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews fails with the takedown.
Andrews checks a low kick from Geroglou.
Geroglou throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Andrews avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andrews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Geroglou sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrews somewhat.

Geroglou closes the distance and clinches.
Geroglou has Andrews pressed against the ropes, preventing Andrews from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Andrews wants to break free but Geroglou has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Geroglou wants the takedown. Andrews is fighting it off but Geroglou persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Andrews's guard against the ropes.

Andrews shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Geroglou but Geroglou pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Geroglou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andrews swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Andrews.

Andrews blocks a head kick by Geroglou.

Geroglou changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Andrews looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Geroglou decides to stand up, so the ref orders Andrews to his feet.

Andrews closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Andrews stops Geroglou from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Geroglou wants to stand back up but Andrews manages to pass into side control.

Andrews is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Geroglou is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Andrews thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Geroglou is looking for a sweep.

Andrews is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Geroglou looks calm but he's in trouble here. Andrews gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Geroglou is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Andrews lets go of the hold and Geroglou can pop his arm back in it's socket.
