Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay George!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Friendly moves away.
George tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Friendly manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
George ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
George shoots and misses
and Friendly counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Friendly seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Friendly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
George pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Friendly seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Barnabus Friendly.

George is still on wobbly legs! Can Friendly finish him?
Some bone on bone action there as George checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Friendly cracks George on the jaw with a powerful right hand and George falls backwards against the cage. Friendly follows up with more strikes that drop George to his knees. Friendly keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save George! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barnabus Friendly!
Barnabus Friendly decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
