Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Falzone Di Salvo (ranked 4742 p4p, 3813 weight class) and Sebastian Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman has chosen Feel Good Inc. as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Falzone Di Salvo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sebastian Roman!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Di Salvo.

It looks like Sebastian Roman has been cut.
Di Salvo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Roman moves into the clinch.
Roman wants a takedown.

Roman manages to pull guard.
Di Salvo prevents Roman from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Roman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Di Salvo manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Di Salvo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Roman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Di Salvo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roman's waist but Roman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Di Salvo off to one side.
Di Salvo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roman.
Di Salvo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Roman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Di Salvo looks to land a combination but Roman avoids it well.
Roman unleashes a big counter combination but Di Salvo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Di Salvo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Di Salvo leaves Roman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

No joy there for Di Salvo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Falzone Di Salvo will probably get the nod.
