Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Silva (ranked 1123 p4p, 1286 weight class) and Boyd Crowder (ranked 147 p4p, 171 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manuel Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Boyd Crowder! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Crowder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Crowder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Crowder under the eye. Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Crowder is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

 We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Crowder but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Silva scoring with strikes but Crowder is staying in there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crowder is in a horrible position here. Silva smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Silva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crowder can do to turn this around? Silva with the ground and pound from mount.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva lands with some strikes. Crowder regains half guard. Silva winds up and cracks Crowder with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Crowder won't allow Silva to pass to mount. Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
 Crowder is rocked! Silva lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Crowder! More strikes land and this one is all over! Silva jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manuel Silva! A very excited looking Manuel Silva made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
