Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 26 - 2, fighting out of New York, Leland Giles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Ducreux!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ducreux shoots for a double leg takedown but Giles sprawls well. He's pushed Ducreux's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ducreux changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Giles tries to avoid it but Ducreux manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Giles to the ground. Giles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Giles looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ducreux looks to land a combination but Giles avoids it well.
It looked like Giles wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Giles misses with a hook. Ducreux ducked under it nicely.
Ducreux looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Giles is fending him off so far but Ducreux persists. Nope, Giles circles away and we're back to standing.

Giles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Giles wants it to stay on the feet.
Giles throws out a loose jab but Ducreux uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ducreux wants to counter the offense by Giles and move into the clinch position.
Ducreux will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ducreux looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It looked like Giles was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ducreux.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
