Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikhil Moon (ranked 1921 p4p, 3887 weight class) and Ethen Rojas (ranked 239 p4p, 416 weight class). Nikhil Moon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nikhil Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ethen Rojas! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rojas with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Moon to counter with a crisp jab. Rojas tries for a takedown but Moon circles away easily and Moon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rojas with a poor takedown and Moon counters with a nice body shot. Nikhil Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethen Rojas. Rojas shoots in looking for a takedown but Moon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rojas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Moon thinks about countering with a head kick. Rojas misses with a takedown attempt and Moon counters with a left and a right that stings Rojas. Rojas fails with the takedown and Moon counters with a two punch combo. Rojas with a poor takedown and Rojas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
 It looks like Ethen Rojas has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rojas with a poor takedown
and Moon lands a stunning uppercut that sends Rojas to the mat!
 Rojas is rocked!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Moon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rojas is still in real trouble! Can Moon finish him? Rojas wants to improve his position but Moon is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Moon in particular looking to stall. Rojas seems to have recovered his senses. Moon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rojas on the ground. Rojas gets full guard. Moon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rojas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rojas has his foot on Moon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moon works his way back into a safe position though.
Rojas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rojas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moon defends well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Moon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Moon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
