Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales closes the distance and clinches up with Freire, looking for a takedown. Morales pushes Freire against the cage but Freire circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Freire has taken the fight to the clinch.
Morales tries to pull guard but Freire won't allow it.
Freire using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Morales has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Freire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Freire misses with a few strikes there.
Freire closes the distance and pushes Morales back into the cage.
Freire connects with a knee to the head.
Freire turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Freire manages to end up in side control.

Morales is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Freire has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Freire buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Morales looks gassed!
Freire shoots in and bounces Morales off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Morales pushes a forearm under Freire's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Freire is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
