Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alkandros Vasilios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kotetsu Yama!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilios gets the takedown into side control.
Vasilios is trying to get an arm triangle but Yama is defending well.
Yama tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vasilios wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Yama is trying to control Vasilios's posture but Vasilios avoids it.
Vasilios lands a nice forearm strike.
Yama is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Vasilios off and has taken his back!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Yama. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yama is working for a rear naked choke. Vasilios is not defending it well and Yama has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Vasilios refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Vasilios's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kotetsu Yama!
