Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira has chosen Til I Colapse as his entrance music. Andre Ferreira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ferreira isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vader stacks Ferreira on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vader!

Vader feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Vader's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ferreira sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ferreira jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vader walks away with a smile on his face. Ferreira gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Darth Vader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Ferreira.
Ferreira walks forward, straight into a front kick from Vader.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ferreira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vader defends well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Vader is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

I would just about give that final round to Andre Ferreira.
