Carvalho's entrance music is Are You Ready For This. A fine choice. Davison has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho lands a head kick. Davison smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Chris Davison has been cut.
Carvalho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Davison closes the distance and clinches.
Davison throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Carvalho blocks it with crossed arms.

Davison lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Davison is thwarting Carvalho's attempts to control the position.

Davison decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Davison blocks a head kick by Carvalho.
Carvalho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Davison will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Davison pushes Carvalho up against the cage in a clinch.
Carvalho goes for a takedown in the clinch but Davison prevents it.
Davison drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Carvalho gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Davison wants to get back to striking at distance but Carvalho won't allow it.
Carvalho goes for a takedown attempt but Davison pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Carvalho pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Carvalho lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Davison tests Carvalho's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Carvalho avoids a punch combination nicely.

Davison has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carvalho tries to pull guard but Davison holds him up against the cage and eventually Carvalho drops back down to his feet.

Carvalho has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davison is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Davison gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Carvalho regains guard.

Carvalho is looking for a triangle but Davison pushes his legs off easily.

Davison gets to his feet. Carvalho looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
