Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hudson Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Isaiah King!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush wants to slow King down by chopping away at his legs.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Rush sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A low kick from Rush is predictable there
so King counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rush pushes King off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Rush throws a solid leg kick but King takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rush.
King misses with a takedown
and Rush counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hudson Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah King.
Rush thuds a left hand into King's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rush thows a leg kick but King checks it
and King counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
King moves nicely into side control.
King in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Rush is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Our winner, Isaiah King, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
