PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remington Randolph (ranked 4091 p4p, 4090 weight class) and Kash Klay (ranked 426 p4p, 0 weight class). Randolph comes to the cage accompanied by grandma got ran over by a reindeer song. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Randolph holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Randolph blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Randolph is trying to trip Klay. He has hold of a leg but Klay is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Randolph persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Randolph is standing up over Klay. Klay looks to escape but Randolph dives into side control.

Randolph is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Klay is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Randolph works to advance to full mount. Klay defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Randolph's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Klay has given up his back. Will we see Randolph going for some submissions?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Klay is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Klay is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Randolph has managed to slip his arm under Klay's chin. This could be all over... yep, Klay is tapping out! Submission win for Randolph.

Remington Randolph decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
