Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eron Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Demuss!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saunders closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Demuss lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Saunders is trying to break the clinch but Demuss is controlling him.
Demuss trying to stall but Saunders improves his position.
Saunders prevents Demuss from breaking the clinch.
Demuss lands with a light punch inside.
Saunders can't find room to land a body shot as Demuss controls the action.

Eron Saunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Despite the aggression on Demuss's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Demuss avoids a punch combination nicely.
Demuss appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Demuss keeps the fight on the outside.
Saunders backing away here, and Demuss unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Saunders scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Demuss throws a big counter head kick but Saunders avoids it with no problem.
Demuss displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saunders throws out the jab.
Demuss looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Saunders doesn't manage to clinch there - Demuss circles away.

Saunders fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Demuss manages to avoid it.

Saunders fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Demuss manages to avoid it.
Demuss is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

As Saunders backs off Demuss throws a huge counter combo but Saunders manages to avoid it all.
Saunders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Saunders is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Demuss can do to turn this around?

Saunders lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
