The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper lands with a shot to the body.
Cooper cracks Meyer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Meyer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cooper displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A head kick from Cooper lands but Meyer takes it in his stride.
Cooper digs a good body shot into Meyer's ribs.

Meyer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooper gets in close and tags Meyer with a short punch that almost sends Meyer to the mat! Oh Meyer is in big trouble! He turns his back on Cooper, trying to create some distance but Cooper rushes him, striking wildly and Meyer goes down! The referee tackles Cooper into the cage to end the fight! Cooper is one violent man!

After winning the bout, Matt Cooper thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
