Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judo Dan (ranked 1428 p4p, 1024 weight class) and Yoshiaki Noda (ranked 172 p4p, 131 weight class). Yoshiaki Noda acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noda misses with an uppercut
and Dan counters with a straight right hand.
Dan swings widly with a right hand
and Noda counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Judo Dan has been cut.
Dan ducks under a wild hook from Noda.

Noda lands a left and a right that send Dan crashing to the mat, dazed. Noda thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Noda throws a poor cross that misses
and Dan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circling - Noda throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
An attempted straight right counter from Dan misses the target.
Dan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Noda.
Noda jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Noda connects with a crisp jab.
Dan pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Noda looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Noda slips a straight right by Dan.
Noda looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Noda cracks Dan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Judo Dan's cut is getting worse.

and Dan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Yoshiaki Noda has been cut.
Dan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dan digs a good body shot into Noda's ribs.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Noda, as that shot connected.
Noda stuns Dan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Noda throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Dan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dan looks to throw the jab but Noda is out of range.
Dan drops his hands momentarily and Noda takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Judo Dan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Dan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Dan counters with a three punch combo that has Noda backing up. Noda nods at Dan to acknowledge the strikes.

and Dan counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Dan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noda connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dan scrambles back to his feet.
Noda takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dan tries to bum rush Noda with a series of wild strikes but Noda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Yoshiaki Noda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
