PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Tung (ranked 3898 p4p, 2341 weight class) and Maximilian Optimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tung has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Optimus rushes Tung and presses him up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Optimus.
Tung takes a shot to the head.
Optimus lands a shot to the body.
Tung could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tung is breathing heavily.
A short uppercut from Optimus.
Optimus throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tungs head.
Optimus works on Tung's body with a couple of short punches.
A short body shot lands from Optimus as the two fighters clinch.
Optimus softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Optimus scores with a shoulder strike.

Tung is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Optimus gets through Tung's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Tung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Optimus works on Tung's body with a couple of short punches.
Optimus creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tung with a big uppercut! Tung tries to clinch up but Optimus pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tung to the mat! Tung covers up and Optimus unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
