Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Todd Cannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Thomas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cannon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cannon presses Thomas against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Cannon stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Cannon scores with a shoulder strike.
Cannon lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Cannon scores with a nice short uppercut.
Thomas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cannon walks away with a smile on his face. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Thomas throws a sloppy head kick

and Cannon counters by clinching up.
Thomas is trying to push Cannon away but Cannon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cannon avoids a wild elbow strike from Thomas.
Cannon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thomas is working for takedown but Cannon is calmly controlling the position for now.
Thomas's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Cannon gets through Thomas's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cannon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Thomas wants a takedown but no success here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Thomas pressed against the cage. Cannon frees himself up and cracks Thomas with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Thomas crumples to the floor, out cold! Cannon jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
