Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zaiden Meyers (ranked 4137 p4p, 3413 weight class) and Kiniiiiii Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaiden Meyers looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyers throws a sloppy body shot
letting Kong counter with a right hand.
It looks like Zaiden Meyers has been cut.
Meyers has a takedown stuffed.
Meyers looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Meyers closes the distance but Kong moves to the side
and Kong counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Meyers. Kong shrugs it off though.
Meyers shoots for a double leg takedown but Kong sprawls well. He's pushed Meyers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Meyers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kong sprawls well. Kong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meyers gets slowly back to his feet.
Kong looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Meyers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kong paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Meyers shoots in looking for a takedown. Kong tries to sprawl out of it but Meyers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kong slips a jab and a cross from Meyers.
It seemed like Kong was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Meyers tries a head kick but it misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kong! But no joy.

enabling Kong to counter with a crisp jab.

Meyers is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kong unleashes a big counter combination but Meyers bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Meyers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kong's waist but Kong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meyers off to one side.
Kong appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
We've been informed that Kong has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

and Meyers is countered with a crisp right hand from Kong that sends him to the canvas! Kong follows him to the mat into side control.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zaiden Meyers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
