Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nikolai Magomedov (ranked 22117 p4p, 5571 weight class) and Clack Clack (ranked 263 p4p, 221 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Magomedov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Clack Clack!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov wants to clinch.
Magomedov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Magomedov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Magomedov is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Clack is defending well for now.
Magomedov breaks the clinch.
Magomedov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clack's hands.
Clack throws an off balance right hand
and Clack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Crunch! Clack slams his shin into Magomedov's torso.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov tries to clinch there but Clack circles away.
Clack bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Magomedov's head backwards.
Clack throws out a powerful jab.
Magomedov dodges the punch combination from Clack.
Nikolai Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A slow jab from Clack misses its intended target.
Clack swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Magomedov slips under a jab.
Magomedov moves out of range of the leg kick from Clack.
An attempted straight right counter from Magomedov misses the target.
Magomedov misses with a wild combination.
Clack has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Magomedov lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Clack Clack has been cut.
Clack lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Magomedov at a distance.
Clack throws a big shot that misses.
Magomedov fails in his attempt to clinch.

Magomedov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Clack. Clack circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Clack is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Magomedov engages and cracks Clack with a massive lead left hook - Clack tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Magomedov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
