Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Watson (ranked 25463 p4p, 4165 weight class) and Ricky Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Watson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jenkins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jenkins wants to clinch up but Watson keeps it at a distance.

Jenkins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Watson to stand up.

Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Watson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jenkins decides to stand up, so the ref orders Watson to his feet.
Watson stuffs the takedown attempt from Jenkins. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Jenkins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Watson, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Watson against the cage but Watson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jenkins tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Watson defends well and Jenkins ends up having to push Watson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
King Watson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Jenkins.
Jenkins shoots for a takedown but Watson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Jenkins has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Watson defend it? Jenkins steps over the head and cranks it - Watson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jenkins!
