Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emporio Cannabino (ranked 2278 p4p, 2810 weight class) and Hjalmar Raak (ranked 279 p4p, 322 weight class). Cannabino comes to the cage accompanied by Ludacris - Blueberry yum yum. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Cannabino. That's going to slow Raak down.
Cannabino throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Raak closes the distance and pushes Cannabino back into the cage.
Raak lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Cannabino has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Raak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cannabino has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Raak has managed to get both his arms back between Cannabino's legs - danger averted.
Raak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Raak decides to stand back up. Raak steps back and let's Cannabino get back to his feet.
Cannabino misses with a wild body shot.
Raak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cannabino takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cannabino steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Raak. That one must have hurt.
Cannabino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raak takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Raak scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Emporio Cannabino has been cut.

Raak gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cannabino.
Cannabino tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Raak is able to avoid easily.
Raak tries to move into range but Cannabino moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Cannabino tries to land a front kick but Raak steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Raak appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Raak stuns Cannabino with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Cannabino fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Raak has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Raak doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Cannabino bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Cannabino loads up on a big right hand but Raak slips the punch.
Raak doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Raak takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Raak has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Cannabino looks to throw the jab but Raak is out of range.
Raak looks like he wants to counter punch here.

An inside leg kick from Cannabino misses.
Raak tries to bum rush Cannabino with a series of wild strikes but Cannabino uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Emporio Cannabino will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cannabino takes one on the chin but seems OK.

A quick step to the side and Cannabino tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cannabino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cannabino lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Raak has Cannabino pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Raak pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cannabino tumbling to the mat - Raak dives into Cannabino's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cannabino throws his legs up looking for a submission but Raak uses it to pass to side control.

Cannabino is looking to regain half guard here but Raak keeps moving and retains side control.

Cannabino stops Raak from passing to mount.

Cannabino is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Raak's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Raak! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Cannabino has tapped! This one is allllll over!
