Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Xander Allen (ranked 2506 p4p, 24803 weight class) and Hector Berlioz (ranked 287 p4p, 541 weight class). Berlioz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by March to the Scaffold. Hector Berlioz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xander Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hector Berlioz!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen doesn't manage to clinch there - Berlioz circles away.
Berlioz appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Allen misses with a right hand
and Berlioz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Xander Allen has been cut.
Berlioz on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Berlioz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Allen.
Berlioz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Allen.
Berlioz staying out of range there.
A little jabbing left from Berlioz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Allen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Berlioz. Berlioz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Allen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Allen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Allen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Allen loads up on a big right hand but Berlioz slips the punch.
Berlioz throws a fast counter high kick but Allen manages to duck under it in time.
Allen sizes up Berlioz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Allen throws a lazy uppercut
and Berlioz counters with a three punch combo that has Allen backing up. Allen nods at Berlioz to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen tries to score with a low kick but Berlioz moves his leg out of the way.

Allen cracks Berlioz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Berlioz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Allen clobbers Berlioz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Allen throws the left hand but Berlioz avoids the punch easily.
Allen misses with a hook
and Berlioz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Allen throws an off balance right hand
and Berlioz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Allen misses with a lunging right hand
and Berlioz counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Allen goes down! Will Allen beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's not going to make it! 9,10! He's out!
