Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sinan Vrases (ranked 2595 p4p, 2506 weight class) and Yu Liang (ranked 303 p4p, 294 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Liang not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Liang lands strikes from half guard.
Liang working the head and body with strikes.
Vrases is trying to maintain the position but Liang is very close to passing his half guard.
Liang thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vrases's head.
Liang is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Liang has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Makweingdo Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liang lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Vrases quite badly. Vrases pulls Liang in close trying to recover. Liang postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vrases on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vrases doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
