The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer looks for a takedown but Crawford sprawls well.
Archer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Archer appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Archer as Crawford shoots in.
Archer tries to bum rush Crawford with a series of wild strikes but Crawford uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Archer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Crawford explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Archer cracks Crawford with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Crawford falls to his knees and Archer doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
