The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chichilla connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Chichilla scores with a shot to the body.
Cabrera is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chichilla throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cabrera sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Cabrera has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Chichilla throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chichilla looks to score with a jab to the body but Cabrera is just out of range.
Chichilla swings for the body but Cabrera moves out of range.

and Cabrera counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Chichilla!

Cabrera throwing strikes here but Chichilla is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cabrera lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Cabrera connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Chichilla tries to hold on but Cabrera postures up.

The referee warns Chichilla that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That has opened up Papi Chichilla's cut even more.
Cabrera loads up with a big shot that hurts Chichilla! He's pulled Cabrera in close but Cabrera has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Chichilla survive? More strikes from Cabrera and Chichilla is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
