Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deshawn Mcknight (ranked 2116 p4p, 2065 weight class) and Jamison Hutchinson (ranked 237 p4p, 231 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deshawn Mcknight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamison Hutchinson!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcknight tries for a takedown but Hutchinson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mcknight tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hutchinson counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Deshawn Mcknight has been cut.
Hutchinson circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Hutchinson to counter with a crisp jab.
Hutchinson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mcknight.
A punch combination from Mcknight misses.
Hutchinson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hutchinson misses with a straight left.
It looked like Mcknight was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hutchinson throws a shot from downtown. Mcknight moves away and avoids it.
Hutchinson misses with an uppercut.
Hutchinson instigates a clinch.
Mcknight goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hutchinson prevents it.
Hutchinson scores with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcknight jumps guard but Hutchinson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deshawn Mcknight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hutchinson pushes Mcknight back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hutchinson lands a shot to the body.
Mcknight throws a punch but it's blocked by Hutchinson.
Mcknight is trying to maintain a safe position but Hutchinson gets an underhook and turns Mcknight into the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Hutchinson.
Mcknight definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hutchinson.
Hutchinson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Mcknight has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hutchinson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mcknight takes a shot to the head.
Mcknight tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hutchinson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mcknight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mcknight walks into a jab.
Hutchinson getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hutchinson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mcknight in his tracks.
Mcknight is rocked!
Deshawn Mcknight's cut is getting worse.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcknight walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Hutchinson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
